If you run a small business that wants to win government contracts at the federal, state and local level, the San Diego Contracting Opportunities Center (SDCOC) may be able to help you.
An economic development program of Southwestern College, the SDCOC is a Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), which is partially funded by the City of San Diego Small Business Enhancement Program, other local government agencies, prime contractors and the Department of Defense.
The SDCOC’s mission is to assist San Diego county small businesses by providing them with the information, resources, and technical assistance they require to effectively compete for and perform on federal, state, and local government contracts. The best part is, this assistance is provided at no cost to the small business owner. (How great is that?)
Thus far, the SDCOC has helped San Diego based small businesses procure over $1 billion in government contracts. Small businesses in San Diego County that sell products and/or services required by a government agency can apply for services.
