The San Diego Small Business Expo is here and if you are a business person in San Diego, you’ll want to go to this event. It’s billed as the largest and most anticipated business-to-business networking event in the city.
It takes place Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm at the San Diego Convention Center.
Here are seven reasons you should go to the Expo:
- It’s free to attend.
From exhibits to workshops to demos, everything at the expo is free to attend for registered attendees.
- It’s educational.
You’ll get to learn about new products and services that will help your business grow and also learn about all the latest technology in your industry.
- Networking networking networking
Probably the best place to work your net if you are involved with a small business.
- You get to play a contact sport.
But not the kind of contact sport where you get hurt. This is the kind where you connect or reconnect with dozens of new people who can help your business grow.
- You get to learn from Bill Walsh.
Touted as America’s small business expert, Bill Walsh will be heading a presentation entitled “How Disruptive Innovation is Driving Success.” Walsh will share his thoughts on how entrepreneurs and small business owners can use innovative ideas and systems to become successful. (And it’s free for attendees.)
- You also get to attend other events for free.
Powerteam International will host the Ultimate Small Business Workshop after the Expo. All attendees of the expo will also get to attend this workshop for free.
- You’ll learn how to catch big sharks!
Okay, so these are sharks of the Shark Tank variety, but for a business person, that’s even more important than sharks of the fish variety. Also: it’s free to attend for Expo attendees.
If all this isn’t enough to get you to check out the San Diego Small Business Expo, then … well, we don’t even know what to tell you. If you are involved with small business in any way and are in the San Diego area, just go.[Main photo courtesy of Internet Association on Flickr]
