My how time flies! It’s already March! How has 2022 been for you so far?
So far so good. It’s hard to believe we are closing in on the end of the first quarter already, but we’re getting settled into the new office and business is going well. We are seeing a lot of activity both with existing clients and prospects.
You have 2 little boys, Jay (7?) and Dominic (4). How are they doing?
The boys are a lot of fun. Jay just celebrated his 7th birthday and Dominic has his 5th birthday coming up in April. Jay has been doing jiu jitsu for about a year now and we’re in the process of signing them both up for soccer. It’s hard to believe we’re going to have two kids in grade school later this year.
Speaking of family, your Primary Funding family has a lot of new initiatives in 2022. Care to share more about them?
Each year we set out to advance on or finish several initiatives, but the main initiative this year is the onboarding of a new operating software. It’s important for us to invest in technology that we feel will make us more efficient and enhance the client experience. The goal is to make funding requests simple and intuitive while providing as much transparency to our clients as possible.
For someone reading this, who might not be familiar with Primary Funding, what would you like them to know?
I think it’s important for them to understand that we are a small business and therefore we are able to relate to our clients and prospects because we’ve faced similar challenges. Most people view financial services companies as these large corporations who may be out of touch with its customer base, which couldn’t be further from the truth here at PFC. We are active partners with our clients and we care about their growth and success.
Let’s finish with a fun question! Do you have any pets? If so, what would they say if they could talk?
I do! I have two dogs (or fur kids as my wife calls them), Gizmo and Lizzy. They are Maltipoo’s who turned 12 at the beginning of the year and their personalities couldn’t be more opposite. Gizmo is a very anxious dog so he would probably say “Hey where are you going, don’t tell me you’re leaving again” whereas Lizzy would say “I don’t care if you leave so long as I get a treat before you leave and another when you get home.”
