December is the time where we look back at the year. This year is no different. It’s time to review what we’ve accomplished. From our goals to our financials, we analyze our progress to identify our performance.
We also look at our achievements and find those wins from the year that are worth celebrating. In 2018, Primary Funding had historic levels of growth.
What wins did you have this year that you’re celebrating?
Here is one for you. It is clear to me that we wouldn’t be here without all you. Our partnership is worth celebrating! If you’re reading this, thank you. Well, first, thanks for reading this. But, more important, thank you for your support and partnership. Thank you for helping us prove that providing growth capital to small businesses can be both serious and fun.
Here are a few of our highlights and learnings from 2018:
- Focus on our Mission and Core Values to Grow. As companies grow, often they lose sight of the company culture, mission, and values. Knowing this, we increased our focus on customers and our core values as our team grew. Leading by example, the team continues to live up to our values and company culture. In our industry, it is important to differentiate ourselves by leading with integrity and values, which we strive to do every day.
- Spirit of Primary Funding. We’re proud of having a team who works so well together, are great at what they do and have fun doing it. They also take pride in their individual and team volunteer efforts.
- Communication that Creates Focus and Innovation. Leadership retreats empowered us to find innovative problem-solving and ways to better serve our customers. Scheduling leadership sessions helped ensure focus and continuity as we continue to grow.
- Dedication to the Community. In 2018, the Primary Funding team attended more community events than ever before. We can’t forget the partner appreciation happy hours we hosted throughout the year. We also place importance on giving back. The Primary Funding team worked together to collect toys and clothes for homeless children, supported the Boys and Girls Club, golfed for charities, rode motorcycles for charity, and more.
These are just a few of our wins from changes we put into place this year. We also put more emphasis on areas that we wanted to grow.
Preparing for 2019
Looking towards 2019, we can see new opportunities and excitement on the horizon. Building our goals for the year and putting the plan in place to accomplish them is coming up quickly. It’s important to remember what we learned, understand our opportunities and bring that knowledge forward into 2019.
Finally, a reflection of 2018 wouldn’t be complete without giving tremendous thanks to the people who helped Primary Funding continue to accelerate our growth.
From our industry and banking partners to our current and past clients, to the new clients and friends we’ve met along the way, I’d like to say Thank you.
