September is Hispanic Heritage month! What better way to celebrate the diversity of San Diego’s Hispanic business owners than a morning with BB Alexander from Inbiz Latino/North Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. BB put together a panel of local business experts for a symposium to discuss how small business owners can expand their businesses globally. Sponsored by Primary Funding, it was a great opportunity for local business owners to hear about opportunities to find capital and get information on expanding their business.
At the podium as keynote speaker was Sarah Bonner from the SBA. She is a senior international trade policy expert and provided the crowd with valuable insight on this important area of US commerce. A panel on Trends in Global Expansion Panel rounded out the morning. Members included local Televisa personality Estephania Baez, Chris Lo from HK Trade Development Council, John Osborne an External Affairs Director at AT&T, Angel Alban the President of Zventus and partner at the Tijuana EDC and Michele Nash-Hoff the President of Electrofab Sales.
Representatives from local Lions Club groups, EXIM Bank and branches of San Diego’s Economic Development Centers were all on hand. Primary Funding’s Greg Salomon served as an event sponsor, as well as MC and panel moderator.
