Lauren, we hear you have some exciting news to share with us!
I do! Our son, Tristan, was born in March. 7 pounds, 1 ounce, 21inches long.
Well, congratulations from your PFC family! We’re really happy for you! After being on maternity leave, what is it like getting back into your job, now as a new working Mom?
There was definitely a learning curve, but the PFC team has been incredibly supportive and accommodating. That truly makes all the difference! I probably watch the baby monitor too much at work, but otherwise I think I have found a good rhythm/balance with it.
Well, it’s hard to take your eyes off Tristan! He’s so cute! So, for those who don’t know, what is your role at PFC and what is your day-to-day job like on the operations side of the business?
I oversee our operations, specifically the factoring portfolio. What I do each day can vary greatly, which I love! Some days I’m working “on” the business, demo-ing software, other days I’m working “in” the business, posting payments and balancing cash.
What can a new client expect from PFC, once they start working with you and the operations team? Can you please give us a feel for it?
Something we are really proud of, is our small, family-owned business feel. Clients can expect to get someone on the phone every time they call. Each client has a designated Account Executive as their main point of contact, but the entire team is ready and able to assist.
Thank you for sharing some time with us, Lauren. Let’s finish up with a fun Mom question… Is there a food that you think is really gross, but you’ll make Tristan eat it, because it’s good for him?
PEAS! Fortunately, Tristan already loves them.
