With many resources available, we’re fortunate to hone our skills, stay industry-current, and continue learning from the various professional organizations in San Diego. For example, we often attend training held by the Risk Management Association’s San Diego Chapter, which shares sessions that refresh our team about analyzing cash flow and financial statements for our clients.
As leaders in the factoring space, we’re committed to driving the industry forward. For us, this starts with familiarizing ourselves with the latest trends and solutions in our field so we can stay on top of our game and serve our clients best. We recently attended the always-informative International Factoring Association’s Annual Factoring Conference, where we networked and gained valuable insights and perspectives from impressive industry experts.
We also recently took our networking to the links, connecting with finance brokers from across the country at the American Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (AACFB) golf tournament as part of its annual “Riding the Tides” conference. We always appreciate the opportunity to meet with other professionals from our and other industries in relaxed, enjoyable environments, fostering authentic connections that last.
Embrace Change for the Sake of Progress
We also advocate for emerging and established business owners and those working hard to drive positive change in our community. Our community involvement and business sponsorships support causes dear to us, such as assisting people in need, creating equitable opportunities, and connecting business owners with valuable resources. Recently, we participated in the Operating HOPE-North County Golf Tournament to help raise funds for those experiencing homelessness in San Diego to regain safety and independence.
We also enjoyed the opportunity to be a table sponsor at the recent Young Black & N’ Business 2023 BizCon, which connected early and emerging entrepreneurs with valuable resources and industry experts. Meeting face-to-face with business owners who may not know about alternative funding or other available capital options is an excellent chance to help push a business forward, mentor new leaders, and highlight fantastic resources right in our backyard.
